Type: Structural Repairs to Listed Government Research Establishment Location: North Wyke, Okehampton, West Devon

We were retained as structural engineers to provide ongoing assessments and structural engineering services for this group of very important listed historic buildings. Below is a selection of the services we have provided to date.

• We carried out a load assessment of a number of floor areas to determine the load bearing capacity for health and safety purposes. A method statement was then produced to lay down maximum allowable loads
• We carried out substantial sympathetic structural repairs and strengthening of a number of areas of roof structure
• Monitoring of cracks in external walls and recommendations for further investigation and remediation
• Assessment of a number of out buildings with schedule of repairs
