Qualifications: BSc (Hons), CEng, MICE, MIStructE - chartered in both Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering in 1988.

Simon qualified as a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer in 1988, has over 20 years experience in Expert Witness work and over 30 years experience in structural and civil engineering design, reporting, surveys and project management. He has worked on a wide range of both major and minor projects. He also has considerable site experience and, as a result, has gained a practical outlook to projects, particularly from a construction and detailing viewpoint.

Since setting up the company, the aim has always been to maintain a high standard of service to Clients and to meet ever demanding timescales for work.

Lloyd joined the practice in 2023, having worked for over 18 years in civil and structural engineering industry.

Lloyd is an experienced engineer with a track record of delivering complex structural solutions in the UK. He brings to the project his strong technical knowledge and client focused engineering approach.

A competent Project Engineer with excellent communication, organisation and co-ordination skills and possessing a proven track record of preparing and executing project plans and programmes, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the company’s procedures and client’s satisfaction. Able to ensure timely, safe and cost effective design and implementation during the life cycle of projects from conception to completion.

He is highly efficient, hardworking and a talented engineer with a comprehensive understanding of design processes and also manufacturing and construction methods. Experienced in all the design stages of a project including research, development and manufacture. Possessing a comprehensive knowledge of designing and developing projects to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.

Qualifications: BEng(Hons) CEng MIStructE.

Tim joined the practice in 2016 having 20 years of consultancy experience in the Midlands and South West. Tim achieved Chartered Structural Engineer status in 2000 and has a background in historic building repair, structural appraisal and alterations, telecoms structures and temporary works design. Tim is keen to promote sustainable and low energy construction and has worked on several Passivhaus projects. He has a particular interest in timber frame construction, both modern and traditional. Tim is experienced in the use of AutoCad, Excel and a wide range of analysis software for structural design.

Graduating and joining the company in 2006, Jon has gained extensive design experience on a wide range of projects and is a valuable asset to the company. Work undertaken includes foundations, piling, basement construction, steel, timber frame, masonry and reinforced concrete design. He is also an experienced detailer using AutoCad.

Recent projects include roads and drainage schemes, retaining walls, steel frame buildings, raft foundations, barn and loft conversions and many more.

Chartered in 1995 and with a background of Investigation, design and supervision for numerous projects for Developers, Private Clients, Commercial, Leisure, Architects, Design and Build contracts, National Trust and other referrals, Robert has developed considerable experience to offer our Clients.

Recently, Robert has designed substantial temporary works, strengthening of a damaged listed Boatyard Quay, Stabilisation of dry stone masonry retaining wall, structural repairs to stone masonry buildings, Conversion of Hotel to 8 Flats, Piled reinforced concrete slab foundation and superstructure design.

Qualifications: MSc Management, BE Civil Engineering

Jean Dargham joined our practice in 2024 as a Structural Engineer. He holds a Master's degree in Management from Warwick Business School (WBS) and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Lebanese American University (LAU).

Jean brings a wealth of experience in diverse structural design projects, including foundation design, structural analysis, and project management. He is skilled in conducting surveys and inspections across various construction stages and has a proven track record of collaborating effectively with consultants.

Jean is highly proficient in AutoCAD and demonstrates extensive software and IT skills, including expertise in Revit, Robot Structure, and Primavera. His strong technical background is complemented by his leadership abilities, having led multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications: BEng Tech (Civil Engineering) Degree (NQF Level 8), BEng Tech Honours (Civil Engineering) Degree - (NQF Level 7)

Ilke joined the practice in 2024 as a Graduate Structural Engineer. Having graduated from Nelson Mandela University with a BEng Tech Honours (Civil Engineering) Degree (NQF Level 8) in 2022 as top of her class and was awarded a Cum Laude. Her final year mini dissertation / research is being published within the next year. She was also in the top 15% academic achievers during my BEng Tech Degree (2019-2021). Ilke is also Graduate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers, UK and has been developing her skills working with our Senior Structural Engineers.

Her work has included assisting with numerous projects including: a new build house, silo base, fire damaged buildings, calculations for beams, extensions, and commercial businesses. Her tasks have involved fixing lintel drawings, RC beam schedules, bending schedules, risk assessments and reinforcement schedule mark ups.

Ilke has excellent planning & organisational skills, computer literacy, interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications: Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship (In Progress)

Harry joined the practice in 2022 to begin training as an Engineering Technician and started an apprenticeship at Exeter College in order to proceed with his education and qualifications. Once achieved he will be able to apply for professional recognition from the Institute of Civil Engineers. He then will look to progress onto a Level 4 HNC in September 2024.

Harry has assisted on a number of projects including structural alterations, new builds and retaining wall design, gaining a skill-set which Harry looks to build on and improve to progress more efficiently.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts Business Enterprise with First Class Honours (1st), BTEC National Diploma in Business

Sheree graduated from the University of the West of England, Bristol with a First Class Honours (1st) degree in Business Enterprise in 2013. Her experience includes businesses management, business administration, accountancy, financial administration, and customer service. Sheree joined the company in early 2018 and has become an integral part of the team, while providing essential support to the engineers and ensuring the smooth running of the office.

Barbara joined the company in 2020, having previously held managerial roles in Operations, Supplier Compliance and Human Resources, and is now bringing her skills to assist in the ongoing development of the business.
