Exeter Climbing Centre

Type: Commercial - Leisure Facilities Location: Haven Road, Exeter, Devon

We were commissioned to provide structural engineering services for the conversion of this very interesting and historic building into the Exeter Climbing Centre. The work involved dealing sympathetically with the historic structure to achieve the required layout and space requirements.

We designed structural steel framing to support the climbing walls, which all had to be braced and stabilised to meet health and safety requirements.
