This Exeter city centre development involved the demolition of an existing garage/MOT station and construction of a quality building accommodating 8 multi-occupancy student apartments. A soil investigation was undertaken to ascertain sub-soil conditions.

A large retaining wall and fill material necessitated piled foundations and ground beams. Timber frame construction was adopted for speed and the frame was manufactured on site so the building was designed with this in mind.
